World art day



World Art Day is a global celebration of the fine arts which is organized by the International Association of Art (IAA) an NGO partner of UNESCO in order to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide and promotes international collaboration through art.
Art is a broad range of human activities in creating the visual, auditory or performing the artifacts, expressing their creative or technical skill, which intended to be appreciated for their beauty and emotional power. Art comes in various forms, but the main categories are Painting, Architecture, Music, Sculpting, Dance, and Literature.
Every art center, gallery, University, Museum, and artist do various activity to remember this day . April 15 was chosen for World Art day in honor of Leonardo Da Vinci’s birthday, who is considered a symbol of multiculturalism, free expression, world peace, tolerance, and visionary in the world of arts. Events on this day can vary from special museum hours to conferences and special exhibitions,social message through creating artwork.

The first World Art Day on April 15, 2012 was supported by all IAA national committees and 150 artists, including those of France, Sweden, Slovakia, South Africa, Cyprus and Venezuela, but the intention of the event is universal.

How we can celebrate this day?

Just feel the power and the preciousness of art and spread awareness about the creative activity across the worldwide. If you are talented in some activities like painting, drawing, etc., just draw some pictures and show them to your family members or friends.
