Brahmini starling-Bird in Love
This shot was the first image that brought me fame on the International level. Though this picture was also taken in a bit hurry. Actually I went with my family to our deity temple, the temple was 30 KM far away from my village. I had just got my new 100-400 lens at that time and I mounted it on Canon’s EOS 5D Mark III camera body, I was just looking for some photography opportunity. And the interesting thing is that this was only my second day, not too much I was familiar with that lens. Since I had the old version of 100-400 there, That was a Push-Pull Zoom lens, which I had no practice of operating at all. Well, after seeing the temple in, I was observing some birds in the courtyard, and these birds were coming to feed the seeds which were put there by the temple devotees. Apart from birds, there was also a squirrel. At the same time, a pair of sterling birds came there to feed. My Canon lens was seeing their behaviour. I was taking some Continos shots to catch their behaviour, then only one shot out of 20 became something special; Many international photographers appreciated this shot.
